Transmitting Marketing Message in Tourism
How someone receives marketing message is different from how someone can understand that same message. Role of printed material and electronic media in tourism is to use them as media for targeted part of market. Difference between segments of market means difference in what media to use for transmitting marketing message. For example, if young population is targeted, it is better to use social media, or internet in general, for transmitting marketing message.
Internet, on the other hand, can't present something in material form for tourist that just spent money for buying some tourist service. Use of printed material still has it's good sides there.
